Strawberry Sandwich Cake

Soft vanilla sponge cake coated with blackberry jam, fresh cream sandwich inbetween... strawberry all around... hide some in the middle of the cream. Too lazy to melt chocolate, I used nutella spread to pipe onto the cake, top with another strawberry. Done!

I made two of this. One as a gift to friend, another to enjoy with my family. I must say its "Yummy!" :)

Raquel ordered this for her family. She say red meant auspicious, her mum will liked. I hoped the red jelly and red strawberry gives you extra happy feeling when you bite into a slice.

Cinnamon Roll Debut!

I'm glad I found the time to try this out over the weekend!

Chocolate Chip Cinnamon Roll!







They are not as soft as I wanted, but I must say its better than the cafe that charged me $3.40. Plus it gave me some bonding time with my girl. She helped weight the sugar, mix in the cinnamon, put the chocolate chips after I spread the sugar, arrange the rolls into the baking tin...
Practice makes perfect, I'll try make this again again. And this time, I'll whip-up the cream cheese topping to go along. Bread+cinnamon+chocolate chips+cream cheese+a cup of coffee... (yah, the thought of it makes me smile)

I had never tested such lousy cinnamon roll. And its from a cafe with many outlets in S'pore. My Goodness, totally not worth the $3.40 they charge. I missed the one that used to be at the basement of Raffles City. That's it, I've got to try cinnamon roll soon.

My Little Princess' Birthday

You guess it, its not one cake, she have cakes!
First, few days before the b'day, we had this 1kg Orange Cheesecake with Strawberry Jelly. We had it at my mum's place with some relatives.


And we have this half kg Rainbow Cheesecake at home on her b'day.




And my darling dear also wanted a mini party in school. Slicing a cake to serve 33 hungry kids during recess is too much for me (even thinking of it makes me giddy). So we had a mini cupcake tower! Pretty and simple to serve. Check out the happy faces! :>






And these are for giving out to each classmate.
