I did this one for the "Xia Ping Li" gift box. But the look is just so Valentine's day too, so I thought I should post it.

For 14Feb
14 Feb. This round, I'm not sure to call it Valentine's day or 1st day of Chinese New Year. Its so fun to have both days fall on the same date.
Well, here's my way of giving flowers and still able to eat it! :>
and than I changed the heart shaped cookie for a Tiger for the CNY feel.I tried my best to draw a tiger... though some say it looks like teddy bear or cat.
And here's their look again. All wrapped up.
These will go at $12.90 for a pot of 9 cookies. Orders should reached me by end Jan.

Take Five
I will be cutting down on my baking for the next couple of weeks. My MIL just had an operation and is now recouperating (did I spell it right?) at our place. We are so "well prepared", the fridge is stock with vege, toufu, etc.
I have some ideas for icing cookies for Valentines' Day, I'll see if I have chance to try them out. But for now, MIL is the priority. Hope she get well soon. :>

Giftbox
Here are some of the things I've made during the xmas season.
Fruit Cheesecake:
Logcake, helpfully decorated by my girl. Funny thing is, she deco it, helped served to everyone in the family, but refused to take even a bite. While my boy happily finished 2 slices and asked for 3rd round.
The fruitcake that my hubby likes. I made a big one for xmas lunch at my father-in-law's house. Its well received by many family member. Yeh!
